Monk Biography:From his position in the lists of Durham Priory monks it seems likely that Simeon joined Durham Priory in the early 1090s and he disappears from record around 1130. In those 4 decades he made the most significant contribution to the surviving record of Durham Priory as chronicler and scribe.
