BindingTuckett binding, mid 19th century full brown calf over thick wooden boards (Charles Tuckett, binder to the British Museum, rebound many Durham manuscripts in the 19th century). Rust-ringed holes or stains in f.2-3, fore-edge centre, and f.190-192, centre, from the metal fixture for a clasp and pin on an earlier binding.

Creator notes:One hand (its nature suggestive more of a scholar than a professional scribe) which also labelled the diagrams. Script:Textualis libraria, compressed, backward-sloping and heavily abbreviated.

Contains 13 of the possible 15 illustrations to Richard of Saint-Victor, In visionem Ezechielis Small spaces (1 line high) reserved for initials at the start of chapters remained unfilled.
