Some material in the Durham Priory Library Recreated project is now found in Durham Cathedral Archive, either in the form of books such as cartularies or registers that provide a witness to the book-producing activities of the monks of Durham Priory or as individuals documents from the Archive such as charters that record transactions relevant to those activities by listing payments for books or transfers between Priory cells.

These, like all the archive collections in the care of Durham University Library and the organisations to whom we provide cataloguing assistance, are catalogued in XML using the EAD data structure (version 2002).
